eyeball An eyeball is the part of an eye that is shaped like a ball. The front of an eyeball is white with a round area of color, such a brown, green, or blue, in the middle. Inside that round area is also a round black hole that is like an open window into the eye. That "window" lets light come into your eye so that you can see.
