definition: |
A walrus is a large mammal that lives in the sea and on rocky beaches in cold regions of the world. Walruses have thick, brown skin and two extra long, sharp teeth, called "tusks," coming out of their mouths. Walruses have flippers instead of feet, like sea lions and seals do.
Walruses have a lot of fat on their bodies to keep them warm in the very cold and icy places where they live.
