definition: |
Cymbals are something used in music. A person who plays the drums also plays the cymbals. Cymbals are made of shiny metal, and they are round and almost flat. They make a sound when someone hits them together. Also, a drummer sometimes hits them with wooden sticks or with metal brushes.
Large cymbals can make a very loud sound when they are hit together. Sometimes, you hear the crashing sound of cymbals at the very end of a piece of music.
