noun |
definition: |
Tinfoil is a very thin sheet of tin or aluminum. It is silver in color and very shiny. Tinfoil is used as a layer to cook things on in an oven, or to cover foods with, and it is often used to wrap things in because it is very easy to bend and fold. Tinfoil is often called "aluminum foil" or just "foil" nowadays because most foil that people use is made of aluminum now instead of tin.
My mom bakes fish wrapped in tinfoil. |
